DAD'S Computers was established as a company in BC Canada, on July 26 2002.
The trademark in Canada was established on March 23 2004.


The owner attended Northwest Community Collage in Terrace BC Canada, studying the field of electronics. He graduated on June 22 1979 with a grade average of 86% far above the 60% required for a passing grade.      His diploma can be seen here.

Shortly afterwards in 1981 he successfully applied for and was accepted by CT&S as a telecommunications installer for BCTel.

Over 1000 applications were taken. Out of that only 4 of them succeeded in passing the intense testing and training that CT&S expected during that hiring session.

He continued to work for CT&S from that date until TELUS and BCTel amalgamated.
Shortly afterwards he transferred to the Radio-Microwave division of TELUS in Terrace BC.

He decided to take early retirement from TELUS and soon afterwards was accepted as a private contractor for Galaxy Broadband in Terrace BC and the surrounding area.

Since he started working with Galaxy he has so far installed over 290 high speed internet satellite systems.

He has over 34 years of experience in the telecommunications field and is very well educated in regards to modern communications needs.

So in addition to just installing Galaxy dishes he also installs custom built WI-FI systems. He has a proven track record of designing and building working WI-FI systems for businesses, large acreages and marine environments.

As well he self educated himself on html coding and has built several web sites in the past.
This site was built from scratch using a template and all of the html coding was done by him.
As a result of this he also offers custom built web sites, with a proven track record.

Technical advice is given for free most of the time. It depends on the situation.
